We are writing to inform you of changes to our Terms of Service taking effect on 22 September 2026. We have set out the refund basis for cancelling an annual subscription part-way through. As this change is favourable to users, we are giving notice 7 days before it takes effect, in line with Article 3 of the Terms.

The changes are as follows.

• We have introduced annual billing and set out the refund basis for early cancellation in the Terms
• If you cancel within 7 days of payment and have not used the service, we refund the full amount
• Otherwise we deduct only the amount corresponding to the period you used — no cancellation penalty is charged
• The period used is calculated from the plan's standard monthly price
• Instead of a refund you may choose to keep access until the end of the paid period and simply stop the next payment
• The refund basis is shown before you pay

If you do not agree to this change, you may terminate your agreement before the effective date.

We are announcing amendments to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, effective September 5, 2026. This amendment includes a change unfavorable to Users (regarding advertising on the Free plan), which in principle requires 30 days' advance notice before the effective date. However, as there are no Users currently using this Service as of the effective date, there is no one to protect, so it takes effect immediately.

The changes are as follows.

If you do not agree to this amendment, you may terminate the service agreement before the effective date.

Even though the Company has given notice as described above, if you do not indicate your objection by the day before the effective date, you shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms of Service (Terms of Service, Article 3, Paragraph 4). You may indicate your objection by terminating the service agreement, either in the settings screen within the Service (Settings > Plan & Billing) or through Contact (contact@herog.app).
